What we offer

Lighting
From patios to ballrooms and tents, we design lighting that shines in person and on camera: market bistro strands for warm definition; twinkle canopies and tree wraps; crystal, wood, and statement chandeliers; budget-smart pinspots for cakes, centerpieces, signs, and bars; and dimmable, color-accurate up-lighting for any palette.

Drapery
Ceiling Draping: Single swags, radial center, or full coverage. Add twinkle for depth.
Lighted Backdrops: Clean photos and polished stages. Sheers with hidden LED.
Custom Backdrops: Textured panels, neon script integration, greenery or floral tie-ins.
Pipe & Drape: Divide rooms, hide service areas, create green rooms.

Event Enhancements
Custom Projection Lighting delivers monograms, brand logos, patterned gobos, and scenic textures that transform walls, dance floors, and entrances while reinforcing your theme. Edison Bulb Stands provide a warm, freestanding ambient glow for ceremony aisles, lounge corners, and head tables, creating intimate focal points and photo-friendly light without cluttering your layout.

ILLUMINATING TIMELESS MOMENTS

Meet Amanda
I moved to Denver from Michigan in 2013 to attend CU Denver, where I earned my Business degree in 2016. With over 15 years in the catering industry, I spent much of my college career working events and building relationships across Colorado’s event community.
After graduation, I began assisting a local lighting company with event setups and quickly fell in love with the creative side of lighting and draping. When the owner decided to relocate, he offered me the opportunity to take over the business. In 2019, I rebranded it as Colorado Lighting & Event Services, designed my logo and website, and launched my own marketing plan.
Thanks to the trust and connections I had built with venue managers, planners, and caterers, word-of-mouth referrals came quickly. What started as a one-person operation has now grown into a dedicated team serving events across Colorado — from weddings and private parties to large corporate celebrations.
My journey and the growth of Colorado Lighting & Event Services were recently featured in an interview with Voyager Denver, where I shared insights about building a business from the ground up, the lessons learned along the way, and my passion for creating unforgettable event atmospheres.
